SouthPark Church has formed strategic partnerships with several ministries around Charlotte to end hunger and homelessness in our community and around the world. We believe these organizations serve as the catalyst for systemic change to fight and end hunger and homelessness within the Queen City and serve as a model for other cities around the world as well as fight poverty and hunger in some of the most devastated countries in the world.
You can join us as we fight to end homelessness in Charlotte and provide food for the hungry locally and globally. Have a question? Connect with us at info@southparkchurch.com or 704.366.9166.
Roof Above (RA) is an interfaith organization dedicated to bringing the community together to end homelessness, one life at a time. RA serves as a point of entry to services offered by a network of agencies that work closely together to provide necessary opportunities for our Charlotte homeless population. RA is unyielding in helping Charlotte’s most vulnerable homeless neighbors.
The Roof Above Emergency Shelter’s mission is to provide safe emergency shelter while working to end homelessness for each man. They operate two emergency shelters with over 400 total beds.
Their work begins through the basic needs of meals, showers, laundry services, hygiene items, and access to a supportive staff. Embedded in one of the two shelters is a Wellness Wing comprised of organizational partnerships to provide counseling for substance abuse, mental illness, and physical healthcare services.
