When given the opportunity by God to have anything he wanted, Solomon chose wisdom. He became wise, wealthy, and famous. He built the Temple, “God’s house” in Jerusalem. Solomon is credited with writing the wisdom book of Proverbs in the Bible. Solomon started out great. Unfortunately, he did not finish well. Like a frog in a pot that is slowly heated, Solomon was cooked before he knew what happened. How can you make sure you finish better than you started?
